The Red Eagles start their campaign to defend the Egyptian League title tonight in Alexandria as Borg El Arab Stadium hosts our opening game of the league season against Al Masry. 

Marcel Koller's men aim for a strong start to the league campaign at the same stadium that hosted our opening game of the previous campaign when we defeated Ismaily 1-0. 

Our team completed their preparations for the game on Monday at El Tetsh before heading to Alexandria on Monday night. 

We have played 125 matches against Al Masry in the Egyptian League with the Red Eagles winning 69 matches while 36 matches ended in a draw, including our last meeting last season which ended in a goalless draw. 

Saleh Selim, Mahmoud El Khatib, Sherif Abdelmonem and Hossam Hassan are Al Ahly's record goalscorers against Al Masry in the league with five goals each.
